About Imposter Online

Imposter Online is the imposter word game for parties, family nights and video calls. Everything is free: both ways to play, every setting and all 576 words in 18 categories. There’s no app to install and no account.

How the online rooms work

A room lives on a server for as long as you play. Each phone is sent only its own card, so nobody can find the word, or the imposter, by looking at the page. Votes and the imposter’s final guess are counted by the room, and a room is deleted a few hours after the last player leaves.
